Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Aerotex Interiors Inc. (“Aerotex”, “we”, “us”) collects through aerotex.ca, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, email info@aerotex.ca.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, send a message, report a problem or contact our team, we collect what you enter, such as:

your name, email address, phone number and company;
your address, if you provide it for a quote or delivery;
the products, quantities and project details in your request (for example aircraft model, registration, part numbers or the date you need something by);
files you attach, such as drawings, photos or documents;
anything else you write in a message or note.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, our website platform automatically receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the page that referred you. This helps the site work and helps us understand how it is used.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

prepare and send quotes, and answer your questions;
process, deliver and support orders and services;
follow up on problems or concerns you report;
keep records required for our business and our regulatory approvals;
keep the website secure and working properly, and improve it.

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

When you give us personal information to request a quote, place an order, arrange a delivery or contact us, you agree to us collecting and using it for that purpose. If we want to use it for another purpose, such as marketing, we will ask you first or give you a clear way to say no.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@aerotex.ca. If you do, we may not be able to complete a quote or order that depends on that information.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only as much as they need to do that work:

Shopify hosts our website and stores the information submitted through it. See Shopify’s privacy policy.
Our quote request tool (SP Request a Quote by Shopplaza) receives the details and files you send with a quote request so our team can review and reply.
Shipping carriers receive the delivery details needed to ship an order.
Payment providers process payments for orders. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Aerotex.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Our website platform uses cookies that are needed for the site to work (for example to keep your session and remember what you have added) and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Your Quote List, compare list and quote project details are saved in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. This information stays on your device until you send your request, clear your list or clear your browser data.

6. How we protect and keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. The website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any records we must keep by law or for our regulatory approvals.

7. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@aerotex.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also contact us if you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your information.

This website is intended for businesses and adults. By using it, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live.

8. Other websites

Links on our site may take you to other websites, such as Transport Canada or our service providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the date below will be updated.
